Taekwon-Do Grading - Monday 1st August 2011

Twenty-three Dynamic Martial Arts Taekwon-Do students attended the mid-year grading in front of Master McPhail (7th Dan) at Silverdale School.

This was our largest Taekwon-Do grading to date with a range of ranks going up for testing. This grading was brought forward by 4 weeks due to several students needing to grade to be able to compete for the Auckland North regional team at the 2011 ITFNZ Taekwon-Do Nationals.

Our senior ranks were put through their paces showing our beginners the standard needed to work their way to Black Belt. Stand out student of the night was Jessie-May Kelly who achieved the highest points-score of the evening.

James Wright, one of our Assistant Instructors, was awarded his 2nd Dan Black Belt certificate at the grading in front of parents and students.
