Gary holds a 2nd Dan WAKO Black Belt, 2nd Dan ITF Taekwon-Do Black Belt and is a WAKO grading examiner; he holds black belts in other martial arts and is a qualified ITF instructor. He runs all the ITF Taekwon-Do sessions

Gary holds many international and national mat fighting titles, plus also holds two full contact titles in New Zealand.

Gary Sawyer has been training in martial arts since the age of 7; he gained his first black belt whilst in the UK under the TAGB (Taekwon-Do association of Great Britain) at the age of 10 years old.

Since arriving in New Zealand in 2001, Gary has represented New Zealand in Italy 2004 and Honduras 2006 for ITF Taekwon-Do. Gary has also has been selected for WAKO New Zealand teams both at Junior and Senior level.

Gary heads our Nemesis fighter squad trainings, as well as being an active member of the Elite fight team.
