Don't be put of by having no prior experience. While it is true that kids are better suited to picking up new skills, they have a very high drop out rate during the teenage years. They then return after many years of not training as adults. Once they restart again they have usually forgotten a large portion of what they once learnt and have to restart from scratch. Therefore someone without any prior experience what so ever can be on the same footing as someone who had some prior experience as a child.
